Recent betting lines suggest that Dustin Poirier may not be contemplating retirement just yet, according to oddsmakers.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced plans to host a Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event on the grounds of the White House sometime in 2026. This event is intended to be part of the celebrations for the 250-year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Given the significant connections between President Trump and UFC CEO Dana White, there is a considerable possibility that this event will come to fruition. Several high-profile fighters, including well-known names like Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, have already indicated their interest in competing on such a card.

However, based on current betting odds, oddsmakers seem to believe that fighters who are set to headline the upcoming UFC pay-per-view events have the most favorable position to potentially headline the White House event.

BetOnline.ag released the initial opening odds on Sunday concerning which fighters are most likely to headline the planned UFC event at the White House in 2026. Dustin Poirier emerged as the early favorite with odds of +250, followed closely by Max Holloway at +300.

Sean O’Malley rounds out the top three contenders for the headlining spot, listed with odds of +400.

Interestingly, Conor McGregor—a prominent supporter of Trump, known even to have attended his inauguration—is ranked significantly lower down the list at eighth place, with odds of +1000.
