The New Jersey Devils have reached an agreement with forward Juho Lammikko on a one-year, one-way contract valued at $800,000.

The 29-year-old Lammikko recently completed a strong season playing for the ZSC Lions in Switzerland`s National League, where he recorded 13 goals and 38 points over 48 regular-season matches.

He contributed further in the playoffs, tallying five goals and eight points in 13 games, aiding the Lions in securing the NL championship title.

Across his three seasons playing in Switzerland, Lammikko accumulated 48 goals and 112 points in 144 appearances.

The Finnish forward was originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in 159 NHL games split between the Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks, registering 11 goals and 26 points.
