Forward Cody Glass will remain with the New Jersey Devils. The club announced Wednesday that they have signed the forward to a new two-year contract. The agreement carries an average annual value (AAV) of $2.5 million, totaling $5 million over the term.

The 25-year-old Glass joined the Devils at the trade deadline last season. After being acquired, he registered two goals and five assists for seven points in 14 appearances for New Jersey. Prior to the trade, he played 51 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he tallied four goals and 11 assists.

A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Glass was the sixth overall selection by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Throughout his NHL career, Glass has appeared in 252 games across four teams: the Devils, Penguins, Nashville Predators, and Golden Knights. In these games, he has accumulated a total of 93 points, consisting of 35 goals and 58 assists.
