Corey Jackson secured the first knockout of the Dirty Boxing 1 event.
At Saturday`s fight night held at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Jackson faced Marcellus Wallace in a preliminary lightweight match.
Towards the end of the first round, Wallace attempted a Superman elbow, but missed his target. Jackson seized the opportunity and delivered a devastating right hand that immediately knocked Wallace unconscious. The referee reacted slowly, and Jackson landed a follow-up punch reminiscent of Dan Henderson before the fight was stopped.
Video of the knockout is available below.
Jackson, a veteran of Bellator and PFL, improves his Dirty Boxing record to 2-0. He previously competed on Mike Perry`s VIP soft launch event in November, where he achieved a second-round knockout against Chris Burton. Jackson, 36 years old, is a former NFC featherweight MMA champion.
