The Vancouver Canucks are facing mixed news regarding player injuries after their Friday practice session.

Coach Rick Tocchet informed reporters that defenceman Tyler Myers is doubtful for Saturday`s game against the Anaheim Ducks. Myers sustained an undisclosed injury during Wednesday`s game against the Seattle Kraken and is currently day-to-day.

Adding to the injury concerns, centre Nils Aman experienced a fall during practice, hitting the boards headfirst. He required assistance to leave the ice.

Tocchet mentioned that Aman is still being evaluated, and his availability for Saturday remains undetermined.

On a positive note, there`s encouraging news concerning forwards Nils Hoglander and Elias Pettersson, both sidelined since March 22 due to undisclosed injuries.

While Hoglander is unlikely to play against the Ducks, Tocchet indicated that he is approaching his return to the lineup. Hoglander fully participated in Friday`s practice.

Pettersson is also reported to be improving, according to Tocchet, and is considered day-to-day, though a specific return date is not yet available.
