Adam Klapka will remain with the Calgary Flames for the next couple of seasons.

The club officially announced on Tuesday that they have signed the six-foot-eight forward to a two-year extension valued at $2.5 million total.

The 24-year-old Klapka experienced a career-best performance with the Flames during the past season, playing 31 games where he registered six goals and 10 assists.

He particularly stood out during the season`s final month as the team pushed for a Western Conference wild-card berth. In April, he averaged a personal high of 12:43 minutes of ice time and led the team with 32 hits.

Klapka originally joined the Flames organization as a free agent signing in May 2022.
