Fraser Minten appears to be set to play in his first game with the Boston Bruins.

Minten, 20, was recalled by Boston from the AHL on an emergency basis, and forward Jeffrey Viel was sent down to Providence.

The Bruins acquired Minten as part of the trade that sent Brandon Carlo to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In 10 games with Providence, Minten has three goals and seven points. Proir to joining Boston, the Vancouver native had four points in 15 NHL games with the Leafs and 13 points in 26 games with the Toronto Marlies.

The Bruins take on the Carolina Hurricanes, looking to end a 10-game losing streak.
