Pius Suter is set to capitalize on his most successful season to date with the Vancouver Canucks.
On Wednesday, the St. Louis Blues announced they have come to terms with the center on a two-year contract carrying an average annual value of $4.125 million.
The 29-year-old Suter hit new career highs last season with the Canucks, scoring 25 goals and accumulating 46 points over 81 games. He also matched his personal best with 21 assists.
Before joining Vancouver as a free agent prior to the 2023-24 season, Suter played for both the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Throughout his NHL career, the undrafted Swiss player has recorded a total of 162 points (80 goals and 82 assists) across 364 games.
This new salary represents a significant increase for Suter, whose previous two-year agreement was worth $1.6 million.
