The St. Louis Blues have bolstered their roster with a promising young forward as they compete for a playoff berth.
On Saturday, the team announced the recall of Dalibor Dvorsky from their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Dvorsky, 19, was a first-round pick (10th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. In his first professional season in North America with the Thunderbirds in 2024-25, he has scored 20 goals and contributed 23 assists over 57 games.
He is among the leading rookie goal-scorers in the AHL and represented Springfield at the 2025 AHL All-Star Game in February.
The Slovakian teenager also stood out at the 2025 World Junior Championship, where he recorded five goals and four assists in five games for his country.
The Blues are currently in contention for a Western Conference Wild Card spot, holding a narrow lead over the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks.
Dvorsky could make his NHL debut on Sunday when the Blues face the Nashville Predators at home.
