Belal Muhammad is ensuring that Leon Edwards doesn`t forget his latest setback at UFC London.
In Saturday`s main event at the O2 Arena, Sean Brady dominated Edwards. Brady`s superior wrestling and work ethic were evident over three rounds, culminating in a fourth-round guillotine choke finish of the former welterweight champion. Throughout Brady’s dominant performance, Muhammad took to social media, openly expressing his views on Edwards, his longtime rival.
Muhammad secured a decisive victory over Edwards at UFC 304 in London this past July to claim the welterweight title. Edwards and his team have often cited the early morning start time as a detrimental factor in that fight. Muhammad dismisses these justifications, humorously asking during the Brady-Edwards bout, “What time is it in London? Asking for Leon.”
He further quipped, alluding to the time zone excuse, “Leon’s still on 5 a.m. time zone.”
Muhammad continued his social media jabs at Edwards.
