Grigor Dimitrov experienced a hilariously awkward situation with fans before the Miami Open.
The 33-year-old Bulgarian tennis player participated in a social media event for the tournament. Several players, along with two fans each, rode in a cable car over Hard Rock Stadium.

Dimitrov was asked by two female fans which female tennis player he would most like to marry.
The former world No.3 responded, “Marry? You`re putting me on the spot here.”
However, the fans didn`t let him off easily.
They insisted, “You didn`t answer the question.”
To which Dimitrov, a former Wimbledon semi-finalist, replied, “Yeah, because I`m not ready for marriage.”
Dimitrov then turned the question around to the fans, asking, “Who do you think would be a good fit for me to have dinner with? Let`s see.”
One of the fans replied, “My favorite tennis player is Maria Sharapova, so maybe…”
At this point, Dimitrov revealed, “She was my ex-girlfriend.”
The fan responded, “Actually? Sorry to bring that up.”
Dimitrov, taking it in good humor, shrugged and laughed, saying, “It`s all good, we`re on excellent terms!”
The fan then followed up, “So that was a good pick, honestly?”
Dimitrov smiled and said, “It`s a great pick. Great pick.”
Dimitrov and Sharapova were in a relationship between 2012 and 2015.
They broke up in July 2015, and Dimitrov later began dating Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls a few months later.
Dimitrov and Scherzinger`s relationship lasted until 2019.
Sharapova retired from professional tennis after the 2020 Australian Open.
Sharapova, 37, has been dating British businessman Alexander Gilkes since 2018.
They had their first child, a son, in July 2022.
MIAMI HEAT
Dimitrov has been performing exceptionally well at the Miami Open.
He has defeated Fedrico Cina, Karen Khachanov, Brandon Nakashima, and Francisco Cerundolo to reach the semi-finals.
After his victory over Cerundolo on Wednesday, Dimitrov was carried off the court as he felt dizzy due to the extremely hot conditions.
Dimitrov is scheduled to play against Novak Djokovic later on Friday for a spot in the final.
