Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski is transitioning to the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) recently announced that Arlovski will make his debut for the promotion on June 21st in Fort Worth, Texas, facing Geronimo dos Santos at BKFC 76.
The 46-year-old “Pitbull” had a long and storied career in mixed martial arts, notably holding the UFC heavyweight title after winning an interim belt in 2005 and later being promoted to undisputed champion. After initially leaving the UFC in 2008, he returned for a second run from 2014 until 2024. He concluded his MMA career following a four-fight losing streak before venturing into Dirty Boxing earlier this year, where he secured a second-round stoppage victory.
His opponent, Geronimo dos Santos, is also a seasoned MMA veteran with a record of 45-26-1. Dos Santos made his BKFC debut earlier this year in April, defeating Aleksei Oleinik at BKFC 41.
