Alexandre Pantoja is set to showcase a brand new pair of custom fight shorts for his upcoming fourth title defense at UFC 317.
These new shorts are part of the UFC Unrivaled collection, created in partnership with VENUM. Pantoja will defend his flyweight championship against Kai Kara-France in the co-main event of Saturday`s pay-per-view card, taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
As with other recent releases in the collection, Pantoja actively participated in the design process, incorporating his personal style and beliefs into the look.
The design description highlights mythological Japanese dragons, chosen by Pantoja to symbolize power, wisdom, and good fortune. His Brazilian roots are also represented through wave-inspired graphics, reminiscent of his home country`s iconic beaches.
This fight marks Pantoja`s return to the octagon. He successfully defended his 125-pound title twice in 2024, first against Steve Erceg at UFC 301 and then stopping Kai Asakura via submission at UFC 310 in December. He initially captured the championship in a thrilling “Fight of the Year” contender decision victory over Brandon Moreno at UFC 290 in July 2023.
