The 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling National Championships in Philadelphia saw the crowning of new champions across all ten weight classes on Saturday night.
The event was highlighted by 2020 Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson from the University of Minnesota, who returned for his final college year. Steveson had been dominant throughout the competition, but ultimately faced an upset in the finals against Wyatt Hendrickson of Oklahoma State.
Penn State`s Carter Starocci aimed to make history by attempting to become the first-ever five-time NCAA champion. Starocci, utilizing an extra year of eligibility granted due to the pandemic, had already secured championships from 2021 to 2024. He sought his fifth title in a new weight division against Parker Keckeisen of Northern Iowa, the returning champion at 184 pounds.

- 149 pounds: Ridge Lovett (Nebraska) defeated Caleb Henson (Virginia Tech), 1-0
- 157 pounds: Antrell Taylor (Nebraska) defeated Joey Blaze (Purdue), 4-2
- 165 pounds: Mitchell Mesenbrink (Penn State) defeated Mike Caliendo (Iowa), 8-2
- 174 pounds: Dean Hamiti (Oklahoma State) defeated Keegan O`Toole (Missouri), 4-1
- 197 pounds: Stephen Buchanan (Iowa) defeated Josh Barr (Penn State), 5-2
- 285 pounds: Wyatt Hendrickson (Oklahoma State) defeated Gable Steveson, 5-4
